NCVF Sports Management internship
Purpose: The role is intended to introduce a student to the world of running large-scale sporting events through education and work with the NCVF Indoor Championships. The role may also cover other events and organizational aspects as time allows.
Timeline: January through May 2025.
Compensation: This is a paid internship. Specific payment will be discussed with candidates.
School Credit: NCVF will work with any school to ensure the program meets requirements for credits if requested. Intern must provide requirements upfront.
Expectations:
Up to 10 hours per week (fully remote).
May also be hired as staff for NCVF Championships (dependent on intern availability and will be discussed during hiring process).
NCVF Operations Director will serve as Program Director (“Director”) for the internship.
Weekly meetings with Director.
Works on event-specific tasks as assigned by Director.
Requirements:
Finished at least one year of college.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Opportunities:
Learn about the various steps of the planning process for a large-scale sporting event.
Firsthand experience working on different aspects of the event.
